When a landlord manages their home on OrbytHome, you apply online instead of filling paper forms. You need an OrbytHome account (any type).
- Open the link the landlord or agent sent you, or tap Apply to rent on the listing. You'll see the home's name, area and bedrooms.
- Sign in, or create an account; you're brought back to the application.
- Fill in the form: your details, current address, work and monthly income, when you'd like to move in, how many people will live there, a guarantor, and references if you have them.
- Read how your information is used and tick to agree, then send.
- Add your ID: NIN slip or National ID card, International passport, Driver's licence or Permanent voter's card. A clear phone photo or a PDF, up to 5 MB.
- Follow it under My applications: Submitted, Being reviewed, then Accepted or Not successful. You are emailed when the landlord decides.
You can withdraw an application while it's still open. Only the landlord of that home can see your application and ID. If you're accepted, the landlord sets up your tenancy; see For tenants.
